Morgyn here with my 2nd project using the July Scrapping Fun kit.
The Hot Cocoa words in this kit just begged to be used for these photos of me having a hot chocolate last year. We were going on a little family drive and decided to stop for warm drinks, my darling husband snapped a series of photos of me.
I used these a minty green 6x6 pattern paper as my photo mat, then added this neat brown tile paper behind the photo mat. Than I got set to work on making my embellishment clusters. In the top left I used part of the hot chocolate 3x4 card 'today is a ...' to make the start of my title. I used the flower to cover up the other dots, so the title made sense.
Next I worked on the bottom embellishments. I used the other part of the 3x4 card to make the end of the title 'kind of day'. Along with the cute cup (so love this little piece) and a couple of gems.
Finally I fussy cut the Hot Cocoa words to finish off the title 'today is a ... Hot Cocoa kind of day'.I added a little piece of washi tape and the 'hug in a mug' flag to the top right corner of the page, splatted on some brown inks and called the page done.
